You must be at least 18 years old to use Homerun. By using the Service, you represent that your information is accurate and that you comply with all applicable laws.
2. Your Account
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
3. Use of the Service
Homerun allows you to create and manage houses, rooms, events, tasks, and upload documents such as leases. By using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes
- Interfere with the Service or attempt unauthorized access
- Upload malicious content or spam
We may suspend or remove your account if these Terms are violated.
4. User Content
You may create or upload content such as chat messages, events, tasks, house/room names and descriptions, and images (“User Content”).
- Personal User Content: You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting it, you grant Homerun a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute it to operate and improve the Service.
- House Data: Content tied to a house (including leases, shared images, house/room descriptions) is considered house property. This data may remain even after you leave the house.
You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate third-party rights.
5. Optional Paid Features
Homerun is free to use. Optional subscription boxes are available for purchase via Shopify. Payments are processed by Shopify. All purchases are subject to Shopify’s terms.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to provide the Service (e.g., cloud storage, OCR tools, utility partners like CIMET). We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except to perform these necessary functions.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, graphics, and app code are owned by or licensed to Homerun. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without permission.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for security/legal reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as-is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding reliability, availability, or suitability for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homerun and Sharehouse Pro Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for optional subscriptions in the 12 months prior to any claim, or zero if no payments were made.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
