In most houses one person holds the accounts, the lease and the mental map of who owes what. Everyone else asks them. The rent figure, the wifi password, when the lease ends, whether the gas has been paid.

Common questions

Do all my housemates need Homerun to use the dashboard?

The dashboard works for the person who sets it up from day one. It earns its keep when everyone joins, because then everyone sees the same house and nobody has to ask. Joining is a code and about a minute.

Can I see what my housemates pay in rent?

Yes, if your house is set up by room. Each room's rent is visible to the house. That's the point: the split is a fact everyone can see, not a number in one person's head.

What does Homerun read from the lease?

The address, the rent, the bond, the start and end dates and the names on it. It uses them to start the house so you don't have to type them in.

Can the landlord or agent see the dashboard?

No. The dashboard belongs to the people who live in the house.

Is the dashboard free?

Yes. It's the home screen of the free Homerun app.
