Text a photo of a bill. Homerun reads the amount and does the split maths for the house. Send it the energy bill and it goes further: it checks what you're on, compares plans from a panel of energy retailers (not the whole market) and handles the switch if the house wants one.

Does every housemate need WhatsApp?
No. Anyone in the house can text Homerun, and anyone can use the app instead. Reminders reach the house either way.
Is it safe to send lease or bank details over WhatsApp?
Do not. Homerun never asks for bank details in the chat. Rent, bond, lease documents and bank connections live in the app behind a verified account, and the assistant will point you there.
Is it a real person?
No. It is an AI assistant and it says so. It answers from your house's record, and when it does not know something it tells you rather than guessing.
What happens to what I tell it?
It goes into your house's record in Homerun so the house can see it. The Homerun privacy policy covers the detail, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. WhatsApp runs on both, and so does the Homerun app.
