Set up the rooms
Upload the lease or type in the details. Name the rooms, give each one its rent and put a housemate in it. Couple in the big room? They share it. The study pays nothing.

The total, each room's share, the due date and who's paid. Nobody has to ask what anyone else pays, and nobody has to wonder.
Pay your room, on time
Each housemate pays their own room to Homerun, once or on auto-pay. Homerun releases it to the agent or landlord on time, with your house reference on it.

The ensuite pays more than the box room. Each room carries its own figure, so nobody can pay the wrong amount by accident.

A couple shares a room and one rent. Either of them can pay it, and the house sees the room as paid.
Released to the agent on time
Everyone pays their room to Homerun. Homerun releases the rent on time to the property manager or landlord, with your house reference on it.
Payment details checked against the lease
Where the rent goes is confirmed against the lease and stamped with who last checked it. If it changes, the whole house sees, so it's never passed on by word of mouth.
Reminders before the due date
Homerun reminds whoever's due, and again if they're late. The leaseholder stops being the one who asks.

Common questions
What if two of us share a room?
Put both of you in the room. It carries one rent and either of you can pay it. The house sees the room as paid, not each person separately.
What if we use a room as a study?
Leave it out. Only rooms someone pays for go into the setup, so the rent adds up to what the lease says without a spare room in the maths.
Can the landlord or agent see our rent screen?
No. Homerun is for the people who live in the house. The agent gets the rent and your house reference, and nothing else.
Where does the money go?
To the agent or landlord named on the lease, on time, using payment details checked against the lease. Homerun isn't a bank. Payments run on Australian payment rails through a licensed payments partner.
What happens if someone pays late?
Homerun reminds them before the due date and again after it. The house can see the room's outstanding, so if there's a conversation it starts from a fact everyone can see, not one person's memory.
Is paying rent through Homerun free?
Yes. Homerun's free to sign up, and paying your room's rent is part of the free app.
What happens when someone moves out?
Their room shows what's paid up to the day they leave, so it's settled before they go. The new housemate joins the room with a code and sees the house as it is.
